Leaving the country

I'm getting on a plane. Then a train. I'm getting back to Prague Wednesday night. The company I was renting my place from decided not to hold me a flat after all, and chose to tell me at the last minute. So I don't know where I will sleep. But I'm back in school mode starting right quick.

that may not be that great either... they may reserve the right to barge in and make porn any time they feel like it.

On the other hand they may not kick you out to do that...

The lost luggage sucks. From what I heard (my siblings just got back from Italy and flew through Philly), there was some sort of conveyor problem and a whole bunch of luggage just didn't go anywhere.

I hope it's found, and when you do get it, I hope it's not stuck in bureaucracy.

There are disadvantages of course, but I'm back in a country where they have proper advertisements in metro stations:

Also, being homeless let me work on some projects without the distraction of actually being able to use the internet or search for clip art:

No idea why it displays with black squares around it - the real version doesn't do that.

Because transparency is at best in afterthought in 99% of all programs and some piece of software in between the one you design in and your webspace thought it didn't need transparency or implemented it differently. Gods I hate that ever since I struggled with keeping transparency while converting image formats.

Anyways, good to see you have found a place to live again.

PNG and JPG2 have transparency as a pre-thought standard instead of as an add-on (like GIF).

However, many programs still break those...

So, Sapho wants to sell you sinks, faucets, bathtubs, etc. This seems to be supported by the website.
